Loveland, Ohio – On Wednesday July 20, during the 61st annual Ohio Municipal Clerks Association (OMCA) banquet, City of Loveland’s Clerk of Council, Misty Cheshire, received the Clerk of the Year Award.

Mayor Mark Fitzgerald said, “The award only reasserts what the City of Loveland’s elected officials and staff already knew; which is that Misty’s dedication to her position, her tireless efforts to expand her skills benefits the entire community”.

Cheshire’s role with the City includes serving as the Executive Assistant to the City Manager. City Manager David Kennedy said, “Misty’s organization, professionalism and caring nature to our citizens make her an extremely valuable member of our staff”.

  1. Misty should probably have gotten the “Clerk of the Decade” award, after maintaining such a positive, warm, professional, calm demeanor these past many years. Others may come and go, (thank goodness), but Misty is surely a keeper. Loveland city hall, Loveland Council, and most of all, Loveland residents are lucky to have her at their service. Congratulations,Misty, a well deserved honor and recognition.
