Cincy Stories will record your stories on:
November 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. – Loveland Branch Library
This November, the Library is partnering with the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra to explore the theme of Home. Specifically, what makes Cincinnati/Loveland home? Share and record an interesting story about the city and what it means to you, your family and friends.
Or record your own stories, using the StoryCorps app. Just download the app and:
- Choose someone to interview.
- Pick questions or use ours, find a quiet place to record, and listen closely.
- When you’re finished, follow the on-screen instructions to upload your interview: take your photo, tag it with the keywords “Cincinnati” and “Home” and share your interview with the world.
Here are some good questions to get you started:
- How long have you lived in Cincinnati/Loveland?
- How has it changed?
- What was it like when you grew up here/first moved here?
- What neighborhood did you grow up in / do you live in? What was / is it like?
- What was your childhood home like?
- What school(s) did you attend? What are your favorite memories from school?
- How did your family celebrate the holidays?
- What is your best memory of Cincinnati?
