LOVELAND, OHIO – Two years ago Kim Zinser’s 5th grade Class at Loveland Intermediate School started participating in a program called Trucker Buddies. This is a program where students are paired up with over the road truckers, and they send postcards, math problems, and any other curricular items to enhance the students learning.

“We tie most of it into Social Studies and Geography to track where they have driven” said Zinser. We have been so lucky to be paired up with an awesome team.”

A husband and wife from Massilon, Ohio, Ron and Dianne Smith who call themselves, Snuffy and Granny.

They visited the students Friday morning and started outside so the students could see the truck and ask questions – then went inside to have a party.
