Donate your car to Ohio Valley Goodwill between Monday, June 2 and Tuesday, June 10, and you’ll be entered to win two suite tickets and a parking pass to the Savannah Bananas game at Great American Ball Park on Thursday, June 13.
We play Banana Ball– the fastest and most entertaining game of baseball.
Our players perform choreographed dances every game – Taylor Swift, Morgan Wallen, Mariah Carey – You name it, they’ve danced to it.
Every game we have a 3-2-2, which stands for 3rd inning, second batter, second pitch. These are unique in-game pre-pitch dances that have combined together for over 300 million views on TikTok.
Our hitters walk-ups are legendary. Bananas may be escorted to the plate by the Banana Pep Band, walk down the yellow carpet wearing the finest Dolce and Banana, or they may even introduce themselves.
We are known for our epic scoring celebrations. From running through the crowd to performing fully choreographed country line dances. When we score, you never know what will happen next.
We have the World’s Tallest Hitter and Pitcher with Dakota “Stilts” Albritton who stands 10 feet tall.
The contest ends June 10. The winner will be selected at random and notified the morning of June 11.

Statement from Fawn Rose on behalf of the Pete Rose Family
We are deeply moved by the overwhelming love and support from the people of Cincinnati, the entire baseball community, and fans across the world as we mourn the loss of our beloved Dad, Grandpa, and Brother, Pete Rose.
Baseball was his greatest passion, and he loved playing the game for the fans. We know that bringing “Charlie Hustle” home to Cincinnati, the city where he was born and where his legendary career began, is the perfect way to honor his love and devotion to the fans.
With the help of the Reds, our family will host a Visitation lasting 14 hours at Great American Ball Park on Sunday, Nov. 10 from 7 am to 9 pm.
This free, open-to-all event will be a time for those who admired and loved the “Hit King” to come together, honor his incredible legacy, and say their goodbyes before our family lays him to rest privately.
We will also celebrate Pete’s life and career with a special “Pete Rose Day” at the Reds game on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. We will share more details about the game and other tributes as the date approaches.
Thank you for your continued support, love, and understanding as we navigate this difficult time.

Guests will enter Great American Ball Park through the main gates on Crosley Terrace and will be directed to queue lines leading to the Visitation area that will overlook the field from the main concourse.

With that in mind, we share with you this news of an upcoming event at Great American Ball Park, not to encourage buying Reds tickets, although they are fielding an awfully exciting group of fielders, stitch throwers, and pounders.
If you’ve possibly been thinking about catching the spirit in person, we encourage attendance at this game which includes one of their famous fireworks shows and support for Child Disaster Relief.
Child life specialists are trained professionals with expertise in helping children and their families overcome life’s most challenging events. Armed with a strong background in child development and family systems, child life specialists promote effective coping through play, preparation, education, and self-expression activities. They provide emotional support for families, and encourage optimum development of children facing a broad range of challenging experiences, particularly those related to healthcare and hospitalization. Because they understand that a child’s well being depends on the support of the family, child life specialists provide information, support and guidance to parents, siblings, and family members. In a disaster, evidenced based interventions point to the specific value of child-centered play opportunities by child life specialists trained in children’s trauma and grief responses.
This is where Child Life Disaster Relief comes in. We deploy certified child life specialists -across the nation- to work with families and children faced with unfamiliar disaster situations to provide coping skills and emotional support.
Please join us at Great American Ball Park on Friday, September 8th in support of our organization. A dollar amount per ticket sold through this link will go back to Child Life Disaster Relief. The Cincinnati Reds will face off the St. Louis Cardinals at 6:40pm, while wearing their new City Connect jerseys. The gates will open 90 minutes before the first pitch.
Immediately after the game, there will be Friday Night Fireworks, which is free for those with a game ticket. We hope to see you there!
Former Loveland High School star and former University of Louisville outfielder Adam Engel had a large cheering section when he returned to play the Reds in Cincinnati Monday night.

Updated: Tuesday, July 3rd 2018, 11:55 am EDT
CINCINNATI, Ohio (WDRB) — Adam Engel had five hits in three games at Texas last weekend. He went four-for-four against the Orioles in May, flashing the tools that convinced the Chicago White Sox to draft him out of the University of Louisville in 2013.
He has homered against Sonny Gray and Carlos Carrasco. Engel also launched one of his eight career home runs in Wrigley Field. Nothing gives a young White Sox player immediate acceptance in Chicago like a home run against the other team in town.
But Monday night, in his 172nd big-league game, Engel celebrated another moment for his baseball scrapbook:
His first game against the team that Engel supported before he arrived at U of L — the Cincinnati Reds.
Check the section along the third base line behind the White Sox dugout, especially the folks wearing gray “Adam Engel 15” T-shirts. More than 150 family members and friends from his hometown of Loveland, Ohio, about 20 minutes from Great American Ball Park, celebrated his arrival. There were fans wearing Louisville baseball caps and shirts in the group, too.
The fan club will grow Tuesday and Wednesday evenings when the White Sox and Reds play the final games of the three-game series. Engel’s Mom, Lynne, said she purchased more than 250 tickets for the Tuesday game — and sold all of them.
