    June’s Pet of the Month!

    Loveland, Ohio – We are pleased to present Loveland Magazine’s Pet of the Month for June! The community of Loveland provided us with some lovely Pet of the Month photos and we are beyond thrilled to celebrate these local pets with YOU the readers!

    This month’s winner is a five-year-old rescue mix named Daphne!

    The Kimnach family adopted Daphne over four years ago from Paws for Miles in Loveland. Daphne loves any sort of ball but has a “special place in her heart for tennis balls”.

    The Kimnach family thinks Daphne may have been an Olympic sprinter in her former life because she loves running in parks, in their yards, on beaches, and just about anywhere.

    During the summer you can see Daphne on walks, going for a swim down at the Little Miami River, or just lounging on her back deck.

    We would like to thank everyone who sent in photos of their pets as it was an absolute joy to see the many beautiful animals there are in our community! For those who sent in photos but weren’t selected this time around, don’t worry, as your entries will be entered back into the competition for the following month’s selection! For those that missed the deadline for June’s Pet of the Month, we will be taking entries from June’s 5th-25th for July’s Pet of the Month. Don’t be afraid to dress up your pets in the coolest 4th of July gear!

    Congratulations to Kevin Kimnach, and Daphne for being selected to represent Loveland Magazine’s Pet of the Month for June! Kevin and Daphne will be rewarded with a Nothing Bundt Cakes Bundtlet Tower, a gift card to The Works Pizza, a gift certificate to Tara’s Pet Boutique and Doggy Daycare, and an 8X10 frameable photo keepsake! Daphne will not only be featured in our publication but will also be included in our weekly newsletter for the month of July and our social media pages.

    To enter Loveland’s Pet of the Month contest you must email me, Mahi Sheth, at shethmahi6@gmail.com 5-6 of your favorite photos of your pet along with a concise bio about your pet. Share with us and the community why your pet is so special to you along with any other unique facts that set your little buddy apart from other pets! When sending in your pet photos and bios please include your pet’s name, age, and breed as well as your contact info with a short description of each photo you provide us with. If you want to share where your pet’s favorite spots are in Loveland that would be great as well! Remember we DO NOT discriminate against any pets; all pets are welcome to enter into the contest!

    Loveland, Ohio – We are pleased to present Loveland Magazine’s Pet of the Month for May! The community of Loveland provided us with some lovely Pet of the Month photos and we are beyond thrilled to celebrate these local pets with YOU the readers!

    Presenting Oslo, a cute 1-year-old White-Winter Dwarf Hamster, who has a home with the Eli Burr and his family in Loveland Ohio!

    Oslo has just turned a year and six weeks old on December 18th, 2021. Eli had gotten Oslo for a birthday present last year. “I had asked for a hamster and received all of my presents, and then my dad brought me over Oslo in his cage. This was the best present I have ever received” Eli responds.

    Oslo loves to play in his wheel at night and keep Eli up as well. Though, Eli says he doesn’t mind as it keeps Oslo happy.

    Oslo “also has a ball I can put him in, so he can explore our house. I hold him and let him play on the couch at times too.” Oslo has been here and there around Loveland, but in the safety of his home. Oslo has tons of places to play and burrow.

    April’s Pet of the Month is Louis!

    Loveland, Ohio – We are pleased to present Loveland Magazine’s Pet of the Month for April! The community of Loveland provided us with some lovely Pet of the Month photos and we are beyond thrilled to celebrate these local pets with YOU the readers!

    Introducing Louis, a beautiful 4-year-old cockapoo, who lives with Rebecca and Doug Jones on Park Avenue in Loveland!

    “Louie loves to walk in downtown Loveland and visit his friends at Union Savings Bank, Paxton’s, Narrow Path Brewery, and Graters!” Rebecca says.

    Louie likes going to visit his friends at the Loveland Stage Company! Louie has been in two productions at the theater. He starred as “Chowsie” in Gypsy and was in the 2021 Christmas Show.

    “Louie is a certified 4-H pet pal and enjoys visiting friends in care facilities. He can be found hanging on his front porch in the West Loveland Historic District of Loveland where he loves to meet new friends!”

    Loveland, Ohio- Who doesn’t like cake?! The launch of Loveland Magazine’s Pet of the Month has caught the attention of many local businesses one being Nothing Bundt Cakes!

    Nothing Bundt Cakes, located at 9540 Mason Montgomery Road, creates delicious readily available cakes using only the highest quality ingredients for anyone in search of a great-tasting cake that is also aesthetically pleasing. Nothing Bundt Cakes is known for its signature cream cheese frosting as well as its one-of-a-kind handcrafted cake designs. Any cake requested can be customized for any theme or occasion!

    Mason’s Nothing Bundt Cake Co-owner, Mary Thress, is well-known for giving back to the communities surrounding her location, including Loveland, so when she emailed Loveland Magazine offering our Pet of the Month winner a Bundtlet Tower we were beyond happy and filled with gratitude.

    “Would you like to give the winner of pet of the month a cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes?” Thress wrote in the email. “I’d be happy to provide a Bundtlet Tower with decoration relating to Loveland and pets!”

    A Bundtlet Tower is comprised of 1-3 miniature Bundtlet Cakes (flavors can be vanilla, chocolate, or red velvet) covered in the signature cream cheese frosting (made with velvety cream cheese and real butter). Thress is providing the Pet of the Month winner a 2 tier Bundtlet Tower, one cake-flavored chocolate, and the other vanilla, covered in the signature cream cheese frosting.

    We want to thank Mary and her entire team for being so kind to Loveland Magazine and our pet lovers! We are thrilled to award the Pet of the Month such an unbelievable delicious treat!

    Scott Gordan, owner of The Works Pizza in Downtown Loveland, also contributed a gift card to the Pet of the Month prize bundle. Scott sent a message to us saying, “If you need gift cards for your pet of the month, The Works is happy to donate! Love my dogs…and my cat!”

    In addition to receiving the Bundtlet Tower, The Works Pizza gift card and being featured in Loveland Magazine’s publication, the weekly newsletter, and social media platforms, the winner will also receive a framable glossy 8×10 photo keepsake that will be delivered to their home.

    Thress is providing the Pet of the Month winner a 2 tier Bundtlet Tower, one cake-flavored chocolate, and the other vanilla, covered in the signature cream cheese frosting.

    The first official Loveland Pet of the Month will be featured on September 1st.
