Thank you for just reading this. Please keep Mason in your thoughts as he fights for his life.

mason-ensorLoveland, Ohio – We have learned that Mason Ensor is again unwell, and it is urgent that his family take another trip back to National Jewish Hospital in Denver, Colorado. Mason is 10 and a 4th grader at Loveland Elementary.

National Jewish (NJH) is the leading pulmonary hospital in the nation according to mom, Lindsay. She said,  “His doctor there needs to see Mason again in order to adjust his treatment plan.” This trip requires airfare, a car, hotel, and then the week long treatment program at NJH. “This is not an optional trip. This is urgent and necessary to help save this little boy’s life,” said Lindsay.

Your contributions are helping fight save a young life- helping these parents avoid their worst nightmare.

-Tracheomalacia
-Other Pulmonary Disease
-Vocal Cord Dysfunction
-Chronic Pneumonia and Atelectasis
-COPD
-Life-threatening, Anaphylactic Food Allergies to Milk, Egg, Peanuts, Tree Nuts, and seeds
-Treatment Resistant Asthma

-Sever’s Disease
-Auditory Processing Disorder

Mason has spent many days and weeks at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center (CCHMC) undergoing treatments, surgeries and tests.

In just 10 short years, this little boy has experienced more than most people do in a life time – and yet what stands out most is, he wanted to collect toys at Christmas to give to other children spending a difficult holiday in the hospital.

With all that he has experienced, the Ensor family has accrued many medical bills. Dave (Mason’s father) works hard at his full-time job and Lindsay (Mason’s mom) is working part time while also caring for Mason and balancing treatment for her own health issues, but treatment costs have exceeded their ability to pay, and they have explored and/or exhausted all options for financial aid.

In addition to the expenses of this trip, Mason requires many expensive daily medications as well as constant tests and doctor visits. The family’s current debts to CCHMC total over $5,000, with a total outstanding balance to all medical facilities for Mason’s recent care reaching over $15,000.
