By Chad Hilliker, Loveland City School District superintendent
At the Loveland City School District, we are committed to being a destination school district due to our dedicated approach to the complete student experience: excellent academics, exceptional arts and premier athletics. We call it Destination Loveland – and we want you to be a part of it. During the course of the next year you may notice our district asking a whole host of questions focused primarily on our student programs and district facilities. We are going deep into what it means to be a part of Destination Loveland, and it all begins this April with a community survey we opened up at this LINK
As the educational leader of this great district, I’m personally inviting you to become a part of this exciting conversation. This is our collective opportunity to have our voice heard and to make a positive difference for our students and our community. Open communication and dialogue about building our future is of the utmost importance to both myself and our distinguished Board of Education. As such, I want to invite you to join me for a one-on-one Office Hours meeting opportunity with me. Office Hours is by appointment only from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 5. Please contact Julie Dunn ([email protected]) to reserve a time slot. That meeting opportunity will take place at the Board of Education Administrative Office Building at 757 South Lebanon Road in Loveland.
From expanding our Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) opportunities at Loveland High School and Loveland Middle School this current school year, to expanding our technology device access to a 1:1 ratio grades 7-12 next school year and enriching our early childhood experience – I’m thrilled with the opportunities we have already opened up for our current students. I can’t wait to see the direction we will head in the future on this Destination Loveland journey we are traveling together.
Dedicated to the future of our students,
Loveland City School District
