Tim Taggart was appointed to fill the unexpired term of Linda Pennington. The term ends after this November’s election. This Board position is one of the open seats you see above (3 to be elected – 4 year term).

*Current Board President Dave Blumberg told Loveland Magazine on August 19, “I will be running as a write in candidate but have not yet filed that form yet.” Blumberg submitted a nominating petition for Loveland City School board with 71 valid signatures. The required number of valid signatures is 75. He has since filed the required paperwork to be a write-in candidate.

As of August 17, 2017, two statewide ballot measures were certified for the ballot in the state of Ohio for the election on November 7, 2017.

  • Campaign finance: As of August 17, 2017, campaigns surrounding the two ballot issues had raised $25.5 million. Around 64 percent of the statewide total came from opponents of Issue 2, including PhRMA and a PhRMA-owned LLC.

  • October 11th 8:00am- 5:00pm (First day of Early Voting and Absentee ballot mailing begins)
  • October 16-20th 8:00am- 5:00pm

  • October 30- November 3rd 8:00am- 7:00pm
  • November 4th 8:00am- 4:00pm (Last day to submit Absentee Request- 12:00pm)
  • November 5th 1:00pm-5:00pm
  • November 6th 8:00am- 2:00pm (Last Day of Early Voting & Absentee ballots must be postmarked by today to be considered on time)
  • November 7th 6:30am- 7:30 pm Polling locations are open. (Last day to drop off ballots to the Board of Elections office by 7:30pm)
