    Loveland, Ohio – Now in its fourth year, Fentanyl Awareness Weekend & Celebration of Jack brings the Loveland community together for a powerful cause: saving lives through education.

    Hosted by DOITFORJACK ~ The Jack Quehl Foundation, the multi-day event honors Jack’s life while raising awareness about the growing threat of fentanyl poisoning.

    With community events, raffles, drink & dine to donate, and a powerful message, it’s both a celebration and a call to action. All proceeds support the foundation’s mission to educate students, parents, and professionals about the dangers of fentanyl.

    Loveland, Ohio – Congratulations to Grant from FTC Team 10464 The Bionic Tigers. Grant won the antweight (1lb) division laast weekend at HORD in Sandusky Ohio. This was the 20th anniversary of HORD, and in the combat robotics world, it is one of the oldest and most prestigious tournaments attracting top builders from across the country and hundreds of spectators.

    Grant went undefeated on the day (6-0), beating many of the top builders in the country including some famous Battlebots builders.

    Saturday, June 14 from noon to 3 PM

    Loveland, Ohio – Whistle Stop Clay Works will have cake, studio tours, wheel demonstrations and lots of free raffle prizes for folks to win on Saturday, June 14 from noon to 3pm.

    Stop out and help them celebrate their fifteen years in Loveland.

    Whistle Stop will have lots of free raffles and lots of surprises for you.

    15th Anniversary Celebration starts with City-Wide Scavenger Hunt

    Two pots will be hidden every day in two separate locations. Clues will be given for each pot. Pots will typically be outside, but might be indoors. People that find a tiny pot and post a photo to @WhistleStopClay will be entered into a BONUS drawing for a large hand thrown vase.

    Starting June 4, there will be a city-wide Scavenger Hunt to celebrate WSCW’s fifteen years!

    Each day through June 13, there will be poems and a photograph that will clue eager hunters to the secret location of a tiny, hand made pot. Clues can be found on InstaGram and FaceBook each day.

    These pots will be hidden all around Loveland for a lucky/clever hunter to find. Once the pot has been found, the finder should take a selfie of themselves with the pot with a @WhistleStopClay so everyone will know it has been found.

    Congratulations to the attendees of our annual swift water class. Both the students from our own Loveland Symmes and Terrace Park have completed a week long intense swift water class.

    Special thanks to all instructors, Loveland Canoe and Kayak, Milford Community Fire and Evans Landscaping in allowing us to use special spots in their area to achieve the best training possible.

    Goshen Grub Bus Meal Program provided a free lunch and breakfast for anyone under 18

    Goshen Township, Ohio – The Goshen Local School’s “Grub Bus” was so successful last summer, they’re bringing it back. The bus is a way to provide meals to hungry students during the summer, bringing them right to their neighborhoods.

    Any child 18 and under can walk up to the bus and walk away with a lunch for that day and breakfast for the next.

     

    Tentative Schedule for Summer 2025

    The Goshen Grub Bus will operate Monday-Thursday beginning June 2 and ending July 31 (no service July 4).

    Lunches will also be available at Marr/Cook Elementary June 2-June 26.

    The tentative daily Grub Bus schedule (subject to change) is below:

    10:45 a.m.: Arrive at Woodville Garden
    11:10 a.m.: Leave Woodville Garden
    11:15 a.m. : Arrive Green Acres
    11:40 a.m.: Leave Green Acres
    11:45 a.m.: Arrive at Fay Gardens
    12:10 p.m. : Leave Fay Gardens
    12:15 p.m.: Arrive at Lakeshore Estates
    12:40 p.m.: Leave Lakeshore Estates
    12:45 p.m.: Arrive at Meadowview
    1:10 p.m.: Leave Meadowview
    1:15 p.m.: Arrive back at Marr/Cook Elementary

    Other important info:

    • Lunch recipients must eat on site.
    • Free lunch for anyone 18 and under (recipients do not need to be a Goshen student to receive lunch)
    The Grub Bus will follow a similar menu as the regular school year, with familiar entrees and servings of fruits and vegetables in each meal.

    Hamilton Township announces partnership to televise meetings and more

    Hamilton Township, Ohio – Hamilton Township has announced that Trustee meetings, along with other special meetings and community events, will now be streamed live on their brand-new HT-TV page, located on the Hamilton Township website. This will enable the Township to provide additional content and information not only more readily and efficiently to residents, but to the greater Cincinnati region, according to the township.

    They hope that the additional access to meetings, events and marketing of Hamilton Township will benefit residents, community organizations and local businesses. Meetings and community events will be accessible on more platforms to more devices.

    The first live-streamed meeting is in 2 days.

    The Township, over the next few months, will be teaming up with Altafiber and Spectrum to bring you the option to watch meetings directly from your home TV.

    The Township says that they are, “Excited to grow this new relationship with ICRC-TV, bringing more access and transparency to you.”

    Hamilton Township will be partnering further with local school districts to have ICRC-TV coverage of high school sporting and performing arts events.
